Name: Kiss The Sky with opener Chogyi Lama
Date: May 13, 2017
Time: 9:00 PM - 11:30 PM EDT
Event Description:
The #1 Hendrix act in the world and the only Hendrix show to be endorsed by all remaining members of Jimi Hendrix's own bands, Billy Cox, Juma Sultan and Gerardo (Jerry) Velez, all who have honored the band by joining them in performances. Kiss The Sky stars Jimy Bleu the world's longest running Jimi Hendrix Tribute Artist. Just like Jimi Hendrix, Jimy Bleu is a virtuoso, left handed guitarist and performs all of Hendrix's signature stage moves. The spot on look alike and sound alike world class touring musicians perform in full replica Hendrix wardrobe and gear and WOW audiences wherever they go. The stage show features the Joshua Light Show FX actually used by Hendrix at his Fillmore East concerts in NYC plus an exciting historical video presentation.
In 2016 Kiss The Sky-The Jimi Hendrix Re-Experience completed their first national USA tour to rave reviews. The tour kicked off with a live TV concert devoted entirely to them on the season finale of the AXS-TV channel show 'The World's Greatest Tribute Bands', broadcast live to 48 million households. Tour stops included Chicago at Buddy Guy's Legends, in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Casino and in New York at Daryl's House Club owned by Daryl Hall.
2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the landmark debut album 'Are You Experienced'  by The Jimi Hendrix Experience as well as it's follow up Axis: Bold As Love. Join Kiss The Sky-The Definitive Jimi Hendrix RE-Experience as they perform cuts from both of these albums.
Rolling Stone Magazine Says: "Yes believe the hype! This show lives up to it!"
Guitar Virtuoso Pat Travers says about Kiss The Sky's frontman: "Jimy Bleu definitely has got Jimi Hendrix down more than anyone I've come across!"
Kiss The Sky is more then a concert. It is a historically accurate visual and sound performance about all phases of the short yet iconic career of Jimi Hendrix .
