The WOODSTOCK COMEDY FESTIVAL’s 5th ANNIVERSARY!
The Woodstock Comedy Festival (WCF) is Comedy For a Cause, a 501©(3) with a mission: a weekend of laughter to benefit survivors of violence against women. Each year we donate net profits to Family of Woodstock (domestic violence programs) and Polaris (human trafficking survivors).
The festival, held every September at venues around town, features comedy from stand-up to sketch to improv, from panels to films.
This festival’s first year starred Dick Cavett, Mario Cantone, and Bobcat Goldthwaite. Since then, we’ve featured Susie Essman, Gilbert Gottfried, Robert Klein, Colin Quinn, Caroline Rhea, Sasheer Zamata, and other bright lights of comedy.
This year, to celebrate our 5th anniversary, Mario Cantone and Caroline Rhea are back by popular demand, headlining a weekend of laughs, as well as a “5 Minutes of Fame” contest and other surprises. See you in September!
