The Mission of the Woodstock Playhouse dba/ Pan American Dance Foundation, Inc., a Not-for-Profit organization, is foremost to cultivate the respect and appreciation for the Arts through excellence in performance presentation and performing arts education.
The Woodstock Playhouse project is maintained as a non-profit entity to preserve the internationally renowned history of the Woodstock Playhouse whose directors and actors are household names across the globe and on the tongues of theatre historians.
The preservation of the Woodstock Playhouse treasure is an homage to her past brilliance, her present return to such, the need for celebration and human connection through live theatre both professional and education based, and to her future wherein generations-to-come will be able to appreciate the seed which grew from the 'first family of Woodstock' in a life where in she was cared for by so many through to present day under the guidance and growth of the Pan American Dance Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors, families and patrons.
Among the present-day cast members of the celebrated Woodstock Playhouse Productions' Summer Stock Company, many of the emerging professionals can now be seen in, and have been seen in, lead & featured roles on Broadway, in National Tours, in theaters & venues across America, and as leaders at musical theatre institutions.
The intimate 321 seat house, with tiered seating reviewed as "every seat is the best seat in the house", is designed with central air for cooling & heating, art galleries, wonderful acoustics & prime stage.
